We know choosing the right financing for your home is important. That’s why we’re giving you more control over your mortgage with our new RateDrop Mortgage. You can lower your mortgage rate every 12 months* if rates drop. No refinancing or new closing costs are required – just pay a processing fee per rate adjustment (The processing fee is 0.50% of the loan principal at the time of exercising the RateDrop option).

RateDrop Mortgage FAQs

RateDrop Mortgage is a 5/5 Adjustable Rate Mortgage. 

There is not a limit to how many times you can lower your rate, as long as it has been 12 months since the previous rate adjustment.

You can request a rate adjustment within Online Banking or our Mortgage Team would be happy to answer any questions you have.

Yes, there is a one-time processing fee per rate adjustment that is 0.50% of the loan principal at the time of exercising the RateDrop option. 

You would have to refinance your exisiting mortgage in order to take advantage of the RateDrop feature.

No, appraisals are not required.
