The DCCU Cares Foundation believes in the importance of providing FREE financial education to the communities we serve and we use a variety of training methods to educate the public on financial responsibility. Whether it’s preparing a budget, improving your credit score, or learning the steps in becoming a homeowner, our goal is to teach the financial skills that are necessary to carry people through the financial stages of life.

Free Financial Education Classes

The DCCU Cares Foundation team can provide FREE Financial Education classes for your organization. We teach a variety of topics, and we can customize our lesson plans to meet your specific needs.

School Education

We are also committed to teaching financial education by partnering with our local schools. In doing so, we have helped thousands of youths over the last three decades understand financial concepts. Our Financial Education team uses the Virginia SOLs as a guide to work along with teachers and other educators to provide resources that help establish sound money management skills.
